Seven years ago, I moved to Salem and met the kindest soul. We were both new hires for the summer season at Home Depot and both of us were also newlyweds. For some reason, we really hit it off and even though our jobs and lives have taken us different directions, we’ve always stayed friends. It’s not usual for either of us to send a 5am Pinterest pin of a house we really love. That’s just the kinds of friends we are. Ashley’s dream home has always been an old home with lots of history and land. And last year, she FINALLY got her dream come true after so many years of waiting, dreaming, and planning. She and her family poured thousands of hours into restoring this property that was long forgotten.
